We are registered with The General Osteopathic Council who are the governing body for Osteopaths in the UK. It is illegal in the UK to call yourself an Osteopath unless you are registered. By law Osteopaths must be registered, complete 90 hours of training over a three year cycle and hold relevant insurance.
I am a member of the Institute of Osteopathy, a useful resource for both Osteopaths and patients.
I am a member of The Institute Of Classical Osteopathy, who provide post grad training using a traditional view of the profession, not based on manipulation but on integration through Body Adjustment. It’s a traditional approach that helps us to understand the organism, the way it works and compensates.
